FAVORITE MAKEUP BRANDS: M.A.C, Makeup Forever, Urban Decay, Ben Nye, Bodyography, Graftobian, RCMA, Loreal, Revlon, Cover FX, tooo many to name!!!.
THE BIGGEST LESSON I LEARNED IN MAKEUP: Sometimes, your faced with people want or expects your services for “Free,” unfortunately, you can’t make a living or be taken seriously when you give into “charity” work. Though doing charity work for organizations like battered women shelters is an wonderfully rewarding experience, and offering clients incentives is a wonderful way to keep your rapport, you can’t always give your service away for free to just anyone. Your should never value yourself anything less than what you think you are worth.
You have to maintain professionalism, and be careful who you work with, because it’s who you work with that determines your reputation as a MUA. Always pick photographers who’s talents either challenge or matches your talents.
FAVORITE/SIGNATURE MAKE-UP TIP: Great makeup, starts with great skin.
Drink lots of water and take care of your skin- cleanse, exfoliate, moisturize, and protect. Because sometimes, no amount of makeup will hide blemishes, imperfections, and wrinkles, only photoshop will help you in those situations.
NEXT GOAL: To become published in a major magazine like Allure, or Bazaar
