We’re back this week with your monthly Beauty Superheroes, and we know you’re hustlin’ and bustlin’ through check out lanes, at holiday parties, and jet-setting across the world to be with family and friends. We don’t know how you do, what you do, but we do know that every Super Fly Gyal should be armed and ready, to face this season’s festivities with a Holiday Rescue Beauty Bag.

Just like Batman has Alfred, and the Angels have Charlie, we’re here to help equip you with beauty tools in making sure you defeat ex-boyfriends (or girlfriends) with your  lipstick, show you products to help morph from your super day look to a fabulous party look, and mend beauty woes.

First things first, pick your bag. The bag helps you stay organized, giving you less time to worry, and more time to fight evil beauty blunders. Your bag should be chic, but large enough to fit your needs, match your personality, and any outfit (including your superhero outfit). Here are our picks:

#1 SEPHORA COLLECTION The Vacationer $42 / #2 Henri Bendel Run Around Town Medium T-Gusset $48 / #3 Tory Burch All-Over Crystal Classic Cosmetic Case $135 / #4 Sonia Kashuk Limited Edition Completely Organized Grande “Emerald Jewel” $16.99

Next, is your beauty arsenal.

Mirror of Marvel (Tweezerman Unbreakable Mirror / $15)

Every Super Fly Gyal should have a mirror to enhance their vision while touching up, making sure you are paparazzi ready.

Power Polish (SEPHORA COLLECTION Color Hit Nail Polish: Clear / $5)

Tis’ the season of fishnets, leggings, and stockings! Stash clear nail polish in your bag to stop unwanted rips, tears and runs. In addition, amp up your skin protection by applying clear polish to your oh-so-faux-but-fabulous jewelry, this helps prevent faux jewelry from staining your skin green.

Diva Lady Danger Lip

Lips of Manipulation (M.A.C. Matte Lipstick: Diva or Lady Danger / $15)

Red is the color of power. Amp up your superwoman look this holiday season with a deep or bright red lipstick. By applying red lipstick to your day look after you have conquered the office, you are able to create a bold, beautiful look with one simple step for any holiday soiree.

Lashes of Magnetism (Andrea Redi-Lash Self -Adhesive Lashes: 33s / $3.99)

We know that you are pressed for time this holiday season, and what better way to spruce up your eye makeup as you dash around beating holiday shopping crowds and traffic than with press-on lashes? These false lashes allow you to skip the glue application, since it is already lined with adhesive. All you have to do is line up the false lash with your natural lash line, press, and your all set to go!

Scent of Attraction (Travalo Refillable Perfume Atomizer / $12.50)

Fill up your favorite perfume (or our scent picks) into this travel-friendly, light-weight perfume spritzer. Refillable and spill-proof, this perfume atomizer allows you to defeat any un-scentsational situations, or maybe attract a  handsome situation.

Wonder Wand (Amika Titanium Digital Pro Styling System / $130)

If you have room in your Holiday Rescue Bag, try including a mini-flat iron. Perfect for on-the-go wonder women who may not have time to stop at home to re-energize and re-beautify during the holidays.

Eye Power Set (Anastasia Beverly Hills Lavish Set / $38)

Arm your Holiday Rescue Bag with this eyeshadow palette set from Anastasia Beverly Hills. The set is complete with 10 eyeshadows, an eyeliner, brow liner, tweezers, and brush, giving you the smokiest eyes in all the land.

Magical Vaporizer (L’Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Hairspray 2.2 oz / $5.99)

Aside from fixing fly-aways and volumizing hair, hairspray comes to your rescue in a variety of uses.

  • Spray inside your shoe to prevent your feet from slipping (helpful when wearing tights and heels).
  • A quick mist can speed the drying of your nail polish.
  • A heavier mist can help you fix nail polish mistakes with a q-tip)
  • Spray on clothing to get rid of static cling.
  • Spray on stockings to extend wear, and prevent runs and tears.
  • Remove pet hair off of clothing: Spritz hairspray on to a tissue and run the tissue over areas with pet hair (the stickiness of the hairspray attracts hair and even lint!)
  • Use as a dry shampoo- spray and tease-the alcohol in the spray will absorb excess oil and give you volume
  • Ink stain remover- spray generously on spray and use an old toothbrush (or nail brush) to scrub the stain out

Now that you have your main Holiday Rescue “armory” in place, here are some additional supplies you may want to add:

  • Fashion Tape
  • Breath Mints
  • Dental Floss/Floss Picks
  • Band-aids
  • Deodorant Wipes
  • Hand Sanitizer
  • Earring Backs
  • Stain Remover
  • Lint Roller
  • Aspirin/Ibuprofen
  • Antacids
  • Hairbrush and/or Comb
  • Hair Elastics
  • Hair Pins

Forget about the fast lane. If you really want to fly, just harness your power to your passion. -Oprah.
